What you will do:

 

The Enphase Energy System is the future of energy. Enabling Enphase’s Always On promise to customers requires advanced communications and control solutions. This includes our IQ System Controller portfolio as well as our fast-growing IQ Combiner suite of products that are used in microgrid systems across the world. As Assistant Product Line Manager, you will own the portfolio of Products and launch the new products in the portfolio. You will interact with cross functional teams and contribute to the system level solution definition to ensure we meet the target system functionality and quality.

 

  • Understand market, regulatory, and competitive dynamics.
  • Own the end-to-end product development process, including business case definition, writing, and scoping product requirements, creating feature specifications, testing, and validating pre-release product.
  • Manage and track product development process ensuring agile product development and responsiveness to evolving market needs.
  • Own the Voice of the Customer. Prioritize features based on market demand and impact, get buy-in from all stakeholders.
  • Own and write technical documentation to support market launches and work with engineering teams to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Develop technical and sales support content for your portfolio of products.
  • Interact with sales & account management teams and support them during key customer meetings by fulfilling the role of a domain expert.
  • Manage relationships with partners including contract manufacturers, distribution partners, customers, and installers.
  • Drive meetings with failure analysis engineers, customer support teams, and core engineering teams to ensure product meets quality and reliability targets.
  • Define, track, and analyse metrics and measures for product performance.
  • Capture and articulate product feedback from installers, homeowners, FAEs, electricians, and more, to drive continuous improvement for your product portfolio.
  • Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share and improve user experience.

 

  

Who you are and what you bring:

  • Bachelors and/or master’s in Electrical engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in applications/systems engineering or product management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a highly visible and critical role.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Experience with switchgear or energy storage products or PV inverter products in an Engineering or Product management capacity
  • Natural peer and team leadership skills.
  • Track record of defining new products and/or driving product launches.
  • An MBA from a reputed institution with prior experience in managing similar products.
