As a Retail Store Associate, you will be an integral part of creating an outstanding experience at Funko's newest branded store, Tha Dogg House, located across from LA's SoFi Stadium. As an ambassador of the brand, our Sales Associates are enthusiastic, motivated team players passionate about pop culture and assisting customers through product knowledge, to guide and generate sales.  

What You’ll Do

• Provide customers with a unique shopping experience by ensuring excellent customer service.
• Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.
• Replenish merchandise; restocking, receiving shipment and clean-up tasks as needed
• Determine customer needs based on personal features and other customer preferences
• Performing opening/closing duties including cleaning, sweeping and mopping-customer and shared store areas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to gain sales
• Maintain a professional attitude; friendly demeanor
• Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures
• Handle cash/register for sales transactions
• Assist with inventory, shipment, and any store tasks

What You’ll Bring

• One or more years of specialty retail sales experience
• High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
• Be customer focus oriented
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette
• Must possess ability to process merchandise through POS register system
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
• Possess basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to use a calculator. Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and busy events such as the day after Thanksgiving, special Big Event days, and the day after Christmas, based on store needs
• Possess a strong sense of urgency and be action oriented
• Must possess interest in continually developing customer service and product knowledge
• Demonstrate passion for the brand, products, services and solutions offered to our customers

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time. The employee must frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally pull large pallets of product with a lift truck weighing up to 525 pounds.  Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work, evenings, weekends and holidays.
