What You’ll Do
As a Product Specialist you will be a key member of the Production Team responsible for managing the development of all Mondo products, from prototyping, pricing, costing, development, and delivery to customers. You will support and partner with a team of experts in all these areas as you drive product development, budget, product costing, project schedule and quality of results. Your role will include a subset of the following projects, to be determined based on team needs:
  • Lead NAV integration project for all of Mondo products, ensuring that product costs are appropriately calculated and reconciled for all product types
  • Support regular review of Mondo inventory levels, including understanding sell-through and recommendations re: write-offs and destruction of old inventory
  • Assist Director with management of product development budget & all agreements with freelance artists, contractors, etc. Develop SOWs for each & ensure that all 3rd parties working with Mondo have written agreements on ownership of work.
  • Support the wholesale team as the key conduit for business-to-business customers as well as internal Funko partners re: product availability, quantities, pricing, costing, among others.
  • Coordinate product approval with Project Managers and Creative Directors via studios for their category
  • Oversee the operation workflow, quality, budget and schedule adherence
  • Coordinate with Logistics on all releases and track purchase orders in partnership with Logistics as needed per category
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with category leads to ensure alignment with the calendar. 
  • Coordinate sourcing all information and assets for product releases
What You'll Bring
  • Passion for pop culture
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management and/or Cost Accounting
  • Proficiency with advanced features of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management and accounting software desirable, including FilemakerPro, Wrike, and/or NAV
  • Experience administrating contracts and agreements desired
  • Background in a creative environment and/or previous work with artists desirable
  • Unparalleled organizational skills and unwavering attention to detail
  • Clear, concise communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possess an entrepreneurial and generative spirit
  • Thrives in autonomous environments - self motivator
  • Strong deductive reasoning and attention to detail
  • Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably on multiple projects under tight timeframes in a fast-paced production environment

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Project management or related business field

 
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
 
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position is $32.00 - 39.00 hourly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
