The Licensing Coordinator position is based out of the Funko Burbank office. As a Coordinator on the Licensing and Retail Development team within Funko Licensing, you will be supporting the Licensing and Retail Development managers to execute Funko's Joint Business Planning (JBP) strategy with major licensors.  As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering all the assets needed to support our retail planning with top partners globally.

Using templates and working with key PD, Licensing and Marketing teams, you will create a licensor-specific 24-month content and PD plans.  You will also develop and manage JBP templates for Funko sales teams and summarize responses in the form of a heatmap for regular reviews. You will be responsible for securely sharing PD plans with licensor' retail teams and working with Funko franchise team to share updates with Funko sales teams and arranging calls and meetings.  Other projects could include retail listings and sell through reports, and other ad-hoc requests to support the JBP team.

  • Work with the core PD team, creating rolling 24-month licensor-specific PD plan highlighting key JBP opportunities
  • Create and update deck of incremental opportunities to share with teams, could include FSDU concepts, bespoke retailer boxes and other proposals
  • Create JBP templates for Funko sales managers to complete
  • Summarize Funko Sales Team responses in the form of a heatmap, unit orders, sell through and other KPIs
  • Securely share PD plans with licensor retail teams
  • Support Funko Licensing Franchise Team sharing updates to Sales
  • Listings summary as needed
  • Schedule calls and meetings as needed
  • Create and share licensor-specific PD calendar
  • Become an expert using Funko's systems including PD (Shire) and Power BI
Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry
  • Some experience and understanding of both a Sales and Licensing environment beneficial
  • Strong administration experience and organizational skills
  • Project-oriented, pro-active, creative, and self-motivated work style
  • Ability to work proactively and independently as well as possess ability to think outside the box
  • Excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups and graphs would be useful)
  • Be able to demonstrate a ‘team player’ work ethic
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills – English, (Spanish helpful)
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position is $24.23 - $30.29/HR. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
