Funko is a purveyor of pop culture, making and selling license-focused collectibles. We’re based in Everett, WA where we have a store that delights kids of all ages (kids at heart included). We currently hold hundreds of licenses for franchises ranging from Marvel to Harry Potter, giving us the rights to create tens of thousands of characters—one of the largest portfolios in the pop culture and collectibles industry. We take your favorite characters and turn them into adorable, or sometimes scary, collectible figures. Our most famous line, Pop! Vinyl, has millions of fans around the world.

This is a new position requiring proven leadership skills, exceptional customer focus, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume fulfillment and distribution center environment. customer service focus will be critical to ensure we are able to delight our customers with great service and delivery, including collaboration & partnership with Head office teams. This role will manage all the resource requirements to meet the demands of the current and future business needs for their respective shift.

Your Superpowers in Action

  • Manage, develop and inspire the supervisors, team leads and team members while building trust, confidence and personnel growth within fulfillment operations
  • Manage the on-going performance of direct reports while leading change through and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives that support the company's goals
  • Monitor daily output of e-commerce fulfillment to ensure achievement of goals by using analytics and other tools
  • Conduct regular site walkthroughs to maintain visibility and seek out feedback from all fulfillment center employees
  • Accountable for managing all fulfillment center activities while ensuring results are in line with budgets and key performance metrics for each work area and site location
  • Self-motivated individual that continually seeks growth opportunity for themselves and their teams
  • Partner with other cross-functional managers on staffing, scheduling and coordination of critical resources required to successfully execute the weekly fulfillment plan
  • Provide regular reporting updates to the Director, Operations on projects/initiatives and performance measurements
  • Define quarterly goals and development plans for all direct employees and conduct regular reviews and evaluations
  • Assist with maintaining a safe working environment for all.
  • Manage SLA of for all e-commerce orders by working closely with the processing team

Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry

  • Minimum of 3 years’ management experience in the integrated functions of Fulfillment & Distribution Warehouse Management
  • Experience leading teams of at least 50, including managing direct people managers
  • Working knowledge with at least 3 years’ experience in leading continuous improvement utilizing Lean principles
  • Ability to teach Lean principles including Standard Work, 5S and Kanban and problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC and/or 8-Step (TPS standard.)
  • Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret product information, production schedules, and other process documentation.
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, ERP/MRP, systems.
  • Bi-lingual highly preferred

In-depth Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities for this Role include:

  • Proficient working knowledge and experience in supply chain processes and procedures including production planning, demand planning and replenishment.
  • Experience with WMS.
  • Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships, influence and problem-solve complex issues.
  • Demonstrates effective organizational and interpersonal savvy skills.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
