Description

In this position, you will support our Finance users within the framework of our SAP ERP ecosystem, with a focus on SAP FICO, including AR, AP, General Accounting, Credit Management, Banking and Tax.

You will drive the continuous improvement of existing or new solutions and processes at each step of the solution development cycle (analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, implementation).

You will also be responsible for managing incidents and minimizing the risk of business interruption.

This position will require good communication skills to interact with multiple teams and stakeholders, excellent analytical skills to provide problem-solving solutions, and a solid knowledge of relevant business processes and their integration with SAP systems.

The primary location for the role is Salt Lake City, UT. The activity can be performed partially from home. Workers may be required to come on-site for in-person meetings.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to local and global projects
  • Build strong relationships with business partners
  • Monitor Business systems and maintain data necessary for proper operation
  • Troubleshoot incidents and provide guidance to end-users
  • Identify and discuss improvement opportunities in business operations and processes
  • Translate business requirements to technical specifications
  • Design and build the solution by configuring the system and coordinating with cross-functional and technical teams
  • Identify the business scenarios for testing and prepare the test scripts
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Support UAT testing and get the sign-off from business key stakeholders
  • Prepare production cutover plan and execute some of the cutover tasks
  • Deploy the solution into Production
  • Provide training documentation to key users
  • Ensure successful adoption of new software applications
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Domestic and international travel may be required (must maintain a valid passport)

 

 

Qualifications

Training and Education

Business Analyst II

  • BS degree in Computer Science, IS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience

Business Analyst III

  • BS degree in Computer science, IS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience

Experience

Business Analyst II

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with specific business domain as defined by the role required

Business Analyst III

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with specific business domain as defined by the role required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI required, SD preferred, CO/MM desired)
  • Ability to handle business and customer escalations and urgent production issues
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to analyze support requests, business processes and data flows across a complex systems landscape
  • Successful contribution to global projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
