Are you a self-starter with who enjoys prospecting new leads? Vermeer All Roads is searching for a Territory Sales Rep in Medina, OH to sell our Core/Compact Equipment (mini skids, chippers, trenchers...). This position “tows and shows” equipment and demonstrates equipment capabilities on customer job sites. Use your strong sales ability to sell equipment and build relationships throughout the territory. This is not a sit behind the desk or sell from a catalog sales position. Must be at least 21 years or older, have valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain DOT medical card, plus an excellent driving record. Company truck, fuel card, laptop and cell phone provided. This is a full time, benefits eligible opportunity with a base salary plus commission.

The position’s objective is to successfully grow sales, manage account activity, prospect for new business, quote, track and follow up on opportunities. 
  • Facilitate the sales process from prospecting to the closing of the sale
  • Ability to load, transport and operate our compact equipment line
  • Demonstrate & sell our full compact line (brush chippers, stump cutters, mini skid steers and multiple attachments)
  • Identify customer’s needs and react appropriately while understanding the market conditions and local competitors pricing. Track in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Territory management – assure proper coverage of all customers and industries within assigned geographic area. 
  • Key account management – be responsible for all customers in the territory. Be adept in dealing with company owners, managers and field personnel.
  • Provide exceptional customer service before and after the sale
  • Ability to effectively work independently and remotely
  • Travel to customer sites on a daily basis
