Full Line Sales Representative – Heavy Equipment
Charlotte, NC | Vermeer All Roads
 
Are you a self-starter who enjoys prospecting new leads and closing deals? Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Full Line Sales Representative to sell and rent Core, Compact, and Underground Equipment (mini skid steers, chippers, trenchers, boring machines, and more). This is a hands-on role where you’ll tow, show, and demonstrate equipment capabilities at customer job sites. This is not a desk job or catalog sales position—you’ll be out in the field building relationships and driving results.
 
Compensation & Schedule
  • Base salary plus uncapped commission
  • Full-time, benefits-eligible position

Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new business and manage account activity within assigned territory
  • Facilitate the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Load, transport, and operate compact equipment for demonstrations
  • Sell and rent new and used compact equipment lines, including brush chippers, stump cutters, mini skid steers, trenchers, and attachments
  • Identify customer needs and provide solutions while monitoring market conditions and competitor pricing
  • Track sales activity in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Manage key accounts, including owners, managers, and field personnel
  • Deliver exceptional customer service before and after the sale
  • Work independently and remotely, traveling to customer sites daily
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (insurable under company policy)
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical card
  • Previous outside sales experience (heavy equipment preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
