Position Description:

The Dedicated Well-being Program Coordinator will be an integral part of a collaborative team, working closely with client contacts, the Well-being Program Manager, and the Account team.

 

The Dedicated Well-being Program Coordinator will work remotely in the greater Chicago area and travel to ITW's corporate headquarters as needed for face-to-face client meetings. They will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Wellness Champion Network, developing wellness resources, and traveling to client locations around the US to promote their wellness program.

 

This individual must be creative and have strong communication skills. The Dedicated Well-being Program Coordinator must also be an engaging dynamic presenter and must be willing to travel 40-50% of the time; ~25% travel in the Chicago-land area and ~15-25% out-of-state travel. Experience working with a volunteer Wellness Champion network is a plus.
 
 
 
The successful candidate will have a background in health promotion, exercise physiology, and/or nutrition.
 
In this role, you will:
  • Increase awareness and engagement in the company-wide wellness programs and resources
  • Engage and manage the Wellness Champion Network 
  • Coordinate Wellness Champion functions such as onsite workshops and virtual webinars
  • Maintain Wellness Champion Network changes and updates
  • Assist in creating content for wellness presentations and Wellness Champion Webinars 
  • Support Wellness Champions in creating a culture of well-being at the worksite level
  • Communicate with Wellness Champions through various channels such as email and the client’s wellness social media platform 
  • Be the primary point of contact for wellness champions and manage any requests, questions, or concerns related to the program.
  • Create customizable resources and promotional toolkits to support onsite wellness program delivery
  • Coordinate logistics of local and company-wide challenges, health screenings, health assessment completion, or other promotional activities
  • Track and maintain records of wellness event attendance and participation
  • Track and ship wellness materials to Wellness Champions throughout the network
  • Create wellness presentations and onsite activities
  • Travel to client locations to support Wellness Champions, assist employees with completing wellness tasks, and meet with Wellness teams 
  • Collaborate with employer resource groups to incorporate wellness into company-sponsored events and initiatives
  • Attend and participate in weekly client/team calls
  • Assist in ongoing program performance review and evaluation
  • Assist in strategic planning and direction for the onsite wellness program 
  • Collaborate with the client’s onsite HR/Benefit teams and other Company departments
  • Assist with day-to-day delivery of established programs with direction from the client and WebMD account team
  • Interact and coordinate with client’s other wellbeing vendors to deliver a comprehensive program.
  • Other duties specific to the account as designed by the client or WebMD


qualifications, skills and experience:

  • BS/BA Required
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Experience delivering health-related and/or informative presentations to small and large groups 
  • 2-4 or more years in a Wellness Coordinator role or similar client-facing experience preferred
  • Possesses project management and organization skills   
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a fast pace, high performing environment
  • Professional presence and credibility to interact with senior-level customer contacts.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.


preferred:

  • Experience managing a Wellness Champion Network 
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel
  • Professional Wellness Certification(s)
