Job Summary: 

Tyler Technologies is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team! The Data Analyst role is responsible for collecting, integrating, validating, analyzing, and reporting data from multiple business applications to support Sourcing, Licensing, Procurement, Vendor Management, and other operational initiatives. This role would extract, combine, and enhance data from different sources to provide end users with timely and accurate information needed to make business decisions. The Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of quality analyses in a timely manner to facilitate business decisions.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Discover, analyze, and scope data requests from internal business users.
• Gather and analyze data pertaining to various business functions such as Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, and IT.
• Create high-level process models (system interface diagrams, workflow and swim lane diagrams, and data flow diagrams) to represent processes for the area under analysis.
• Empower the business by creating value through increased adoption of data standards, industry best practices, and business intelligence.
• Improve data quality in relation to defined expectations.
• Analyze system data to identify patterns, exceptions, and erroneous data.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with data profiling, extraction, analysis, and business Intelligence in a business environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Formulas, Charting, and Power Query
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience joining multiple datasets.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Solid understanding of integrated platforms and data reporting solutions.
• High-level problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
