Summary of the Job:
Utilize robotic laser locating equipment to mark plumbing stack locations at job sites and assist with CAD documents.

Essential Functions:

  • Create stack point locations on CAD’s using Trimble point software
  • Work with Field Superintendent to answer any layout questions
  • Use Total Station to mark field layout
  • Create reports from field layout
  • Assist with producing plumbing CAD drawings.
  • Assist with producing HVAC CAD drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Direction: Receive guidance with respect to general objectives; in the majority of tasks and projects assigned determine methods, work sequence, scheduling and how to achieve objectives of assignments; operate within specific policy guidelines.
  • Safety: Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
    Report all unsafe activities to Field Superintendent and/or Department Manager.
  • Teamwork: Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Leadership: No leadership responsibilities for this position.

    Education:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD OR Construction background and/or experience
  • Architectural/construction CAD is preferred.

Computer Operations:
Basic understanding of windows operating systems and Microsoft 365

Physical/Environmental Demands:
Working conditions: Daily work in the field in all weather conditions.
Work Environment: Varies depending on site location and status of construction

Work Schedule:
Standard start time 7:00 A.M. with a one hour
lunch. End time varies depending on completion of daily duties,
special projects and initiatives. Standard work week; Monday
through Friday. Some mandatory Saturday and/or Sunday work
days. Travel: Daily travel to various jobsites in and out of state

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk and climb 3/4 of the day
Capable of lifting at least 80 pounds.
