Come join our team as a Surveyor / Trimble Operator!

As a Surveyor / Trimble Operator you will utilize robotic laser locating equipment to mark plumbing stack locations at job sites and assist with CAD schematics and plans.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

         Create stack point locations on CAD’s using Trimble point software.

         Work with Field Superintendent to answer any layout questions.

         Use Total Station to mark field layout.

         Create reports from field layout.

         Assist with producing plumbing CAD drawings.

         Assist with producing HVAC CAD drawings.

         Leadership: No leadership responsibilities for this position.

         Direction: Receive guidance with respect to general objectives; in the majority of tasks and projects assigned determine methods, work sequence, scheduling and how to achieve objectives of assignments; operate within specific policy guidelines.

         Safety: Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.

Report all unsafe activities to Field Superintendent and/or Department Manager.

         Teamwork: Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

         Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One year certificate from college or technical school; or 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

         Licenses: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

         Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in AutoCAD experience preferred.  Construction background and/or experience in architectural / construction CAD is preferred.

         Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondences, and memos. Has the ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizations.

         Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must achieve a minimum score of 12 on the Wonderlic Personnel pre-employment test.

         Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

         Computer Operations: Basic understanding of windows operating systems and Microsoft 365

         Planning and Organization: Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and be organized.

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday

LOCATION: On-site

SALARY: $20.00 Up to $25.00
