Senior Tech Support Systems Administrator
Reporting to the IT Support Team Lead, the person in this role will own the endpoint management, patch compliance, and software asset lifecycle across our global IT environment.
This position plays a vital role in maintaining a secure, up-to-date, and efficient computing environment for our global workforce serving as the subject matter expert for Tanium, overseeing our endpoint management and patch deployment processes, and leading efforts related to software asset management (SAM), including license tracking, renewals, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer an optimize the Tanium platform for endpoint management, patching, inventory, and compliance
- Lead the design, scheduling, testing, and deployment of the regular endpoint patching cycle for Windows and MacOS endpoints
- Monitor endpoint health, ensure high compliance rates, and troubleshoot patch failures
- Maintain up-to-date dashboards and reports to track patch compliance and software deployment metrics
- Manage software asset inventory across all endpoints, ensuring accurate records of installed software, license usage, and renewal dates
- Collaborate with global IT support teams to align system management practices and ensure endpoint standardization across regions
- Create and maintain documentation, including SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and compliance reports
- Provide Tier 3 support for endpoint-related escalations, acting as a technical liaison between support teams and infrastructure/security SMEs
- Coordinate with vendors for tool upgrades, support and integration efforts
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or endpoint management
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Tanium and Intune
- Strong understanding of Windows and MacOS operating systems and patch cycles
- Experience with software asset management processes and tools
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams in a distributed environment
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in working across time zones and cultures
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL certification or knowledge of ITSM practices
- Experience with PowerShell and other scripting tools
- Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Exposure to additional endpoint management tools
Work Environment and Expectations
- This is a global role requiring frequent flexibility for meetings with US-based colleagues
- Role may include occasional after-hours (or before-hours) support during patching windows or incidents
