Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Adobe Workfront Fusion Developer / Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of complex workflow automations and enterprise integrations across the Adobe ecosystem and third-party platforms.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in automation architecture, API integration, and system scalability, with a deep understanding of Workfront Fusion, Workfront API, and related tools in the Adobe Experience Cloud. This role requires both strategic and hands-on expertise to translate business requirements into sophisticated, high-performance automation frameworks that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Workfront Fusion integrations, ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Conduct solution architecture workshops with business stakeholders to translate complex business goals into technical integration strategies and automation designs.
• Build, optimize, and maintain Fusion scenarios involving multi-system integrations (e.g., Adobe Workfront, Marketo, Jira, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Slack, Teams, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Smartsheet).
• Define and enforce Fusion development best practices — including module structuring, scenario orchestration, governance, error handling, and reusability patterns.
• Collaborate with Adobe Workfront Consultants and Project Managers to align Fusion solutions with Workfront configuration, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal overlap.
• Architect Fusion solutions using advanced API integration techniques, including REST, GraphQL, OAuth2, and token-based authentication models.
• Evaluate existing automation frameworks and recommend improvements in performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Lead code reviews, provide technical mentorship to junior developers, and ensure adherence to Fusion and API integration standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — IT, Marketing Operations, PMO, and Data Analytics — to align Fusion automation with broader digital transformation initiatives.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling frameworks to improve observability and reduce downtime of Fusion workflows.
• Manage deployment lifecycle from design → testing → UAT → go-live → maintenance, ensuring high quality and adherence to release processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders on process automation, digital workflow design, and enterprise system integrations.
• Stay current with Adobe’s roadmap, Fusion updates, and emerging automation technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
• 6–10 years of professional experience in integration development, process automation, or enterprise workflow orchestration.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Workfront Fusion, designing and managing complex enterprise-grade integrations.
• Deep understanding of Workfront API, Fusion connectors, and REST API frameworks.
• Strong command of API authentication protocols (OAuth2, Bearer tokens) and secure API consumption patterns.
• Proven expertise in Fusion scenario optimization, including load management, data batching, flow control, and iterator/aggregator configuration.
• Advanced experience in error handling, scenario scheduling, and Fusion performance tuning.
• Proficiency with JSON, XML, and data transformation within Fusion and external systems.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem (especially Workfront, Marketo, AEM, Analytics, and Campaign) and how Fusion can interconnect them.
• Experience integrating non-Adobe platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, Slack, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills — capable of translating technical concepts into business value.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discovery, provide estimates, manage delivery timelines, and mitigate risks proactively.
Desirable Skills and Tools
• Familiarity with iPaaS platforms (Integration Platform as a Service) such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Make (formerly Integromat).
• Exposure to scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) for custom data transformation or logic inside APIs.
• Experience using Postman or Swagger for API testing and validation.
• Understanding of data governance, security policies, and compliance frameworks when handling automation across enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, or Adobe Admin Console logs) for automation performance tracking.
• Knowledge of Adobe Sensei GenAI and emerging automation capabilities within the Adobe ecosystem.
• Experience designing error recovery frameworks and retry logic within Fusion for mission-critical automations.
• Adobe Workfront Fusion Certification is a must; Adobe Workfront Core Developer/Architect Certification preferred.
Required Education
B.E.; B.Tech; MCA; or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
