Description

We are looking for an experienced web application developer with Java/J2EE skills to join our development team. The Senior Software Engineer will design and develop front-end user interfaces using React.js and back-end services using Node.js, Java, collaborate across engineering, product, and DevOps, and drive continuous delivery pipelines with GitLab. The ideal candidate excels in building accessible, responsive, and maintainable UI components.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Design, develop, and maintain modern UI components and web applications (React.js).
  • Engineer robust Java/J2EE services, RESTful APIs, and integrations; write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Build and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines (build, test, code quality, security scans, packaging, deploy) across environments.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and drive continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Develop unit/integration tests; partner with QA for performance and reliability validation.
  • Contribute to documentation for design, deployment, and operational runbooks; provide KT to teams.
  • Manage configurations across environments and support access/user management.
 
Required Technical Skills: 
  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong GUI development skills with modern web frameworks and component libraries.
  • Experience building and operating GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of REST API design; familiarity with microservices patterns.
  • Proven track record of delivering in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
Preferred Skills 
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
Soft Skills: 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, proactive mindset
  • Capable of working cross-functionally with developers, ops, and business teams
 
Shift & Availability: 
  • 2PM -11PM shift
