Job Description

  • Responsible for support of existing products in production and the transition of new products to volume production.  Responsibilities include product characterization, product qualification, yield analysis, and yield improvement.  Position requires interface with various technical and production groups and includes  leading projects, teams, and individuals as well as the development of project schedules.

  • Ability to work in a high volume production environment
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of statistical capabilities

  

Requirements

  • BS, Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MS preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience with support of automated test equipment, wafer sort and final test
  • Experience with CMOS basics and device physics, including BiCMOS
  • Experience with yield analysis software/database
  • Familiarity with reliability testing, methodologies, basic failure analysis principles and techniques, automated test equipment, wafer sort and final test
  • Hands on experience with high voltage, high power testing is a plus
  • Bench setups and evaluation of semiconductors experience is desired
Power Integrations is committed to building teams that drive innovation and therefore review a range of factors when determining compensation.  The annual base pay range for this position is $76,854 - $121,153.  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location.  
 
The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
