About your Role:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will process nonexempt and exempt payrolls. Responsible for all data entry pertaining to production of payroll.  Input is done within all federal and state payroll laws.  This position receives, reviews, and resolves all questions (for responsible entities) concerning such input with consultation by the Payroll Leads and/or Director.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Compile and enter employee time and payroll data into excel spreadsheets.
• Enter payroll data into ADP
• Conduct accuracy checks on payroll information before transmitting payroll
• Maintain Confidentiality of all employee information
• Mail or deliver checks from ADP to employees
• Handle employee phone calls and emails regarding payroll issues
• Produce applicable payroll reports as requested and necessary
• Deliver ADP reports to accounting and payroll managers
• Garnishment processing
• Any other duty as assigned

Compensation: 

• $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Does the following apply to you? 

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years’ experience in payroll
• Proven advanced ability with Excel

Preferred:

• Some college (preferably in business or accounting)  
• Knowledge of ADP
• Proficient with 10-key calculator
• Understanding of overtime
• Understanding of Payroll Laws per State and Federal guidelines
