Behavior Support Specialist

About your Role:
As a Behavior Support Specialist, this position is responsible for providing direct and indirect behavioral intervention and consultation to consumers, family, and other stakeholders. This position is responsible for guiding treatment by developing a treatment plan, monitoring progress on goals, intervening directly with a consumer, and developing programs, as appropriate. There is room for growth in this role.
- May need to transport consumers in your own personal car.
- Current needs in Green Tree, Sewickley, and Millvale.

Does the following apply to you?
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, ABA or similar human services field
- Or having a Master’s Degree with 50% or more of ABA course work, if degree is not in one of the above fields.
- Or having a PA Behavior Specialist License
- At least 1 year of experience in either a CASSP service system or employed by a licensed mental health services agency or subcontracted agency. Or completed training in conducting and using a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), and in positive behavioral support. Training must be provided by the Bureau of Autism Services, or an accredited college or university.
- Ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI Clearances
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for the purpose of transporting consumers, if needed
