Role Description
Oak Street Health is looking for a Sr. Manager of Decision Sciences to join our broader Measurement, Evaluation, and Analytics team. Reporting to the VP, Data Analytics, this individual will act as a lead guiding a cross functional team and the intersection of OSH data and operational strategy. Responsibilities include technical management of extensive partnerships with OSHâs population health, clinical operational teams, and leadership on projects of strategic importance, development of statistical analysis (specifically causal inference), and roadmap management for the decision science team. This is a fast-paced role with high growth, visibility, impact, and where your analysis and insight develop will directly shape the organization direction.
Key Responsibilities
Selecting and implementing appropriate statistical methods to evaluate and inform new business initiatives and post implementation impact assessments
Lead, grow, and develop team members within the Decision Sciences Organization
Develop models to understand the top drivers of sales performance and quantify their impact
Establish technical rigor behind the design, implementation, and validation of the broader team's analytical efforts.
Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and translate that need into a data driven hypotheses for future analysis
Model system interactions and behaviors for various holistic initiatives
Lead the development of scalable and reusable statistical tools and frameworks to increase the adoption of robust analysis across the organization
What weâre looking for
Graduate education (PhD, Dr.PH, MS, MPH, etc.) preferred
Minimum of 3 years of healthcare or life sciences data science or analytics experience
Minimum of 1 years of analytically focused leadership position
Command of data science libraries in Python and/or R
Extensive experience with SQL-based relational databases
Understanding of the use and misuse of statistics for causal inference
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
US work authorization
