Title: Senior Associate, Pop Health - Quality Program

 

Role Description

The Senior Associate, Quality Program reports to the Senior Manager of Population Health and is responsible for supporting Quality/Stars and patient engagement efforts.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enjoys solving challenging problems, uses data to drive insights, and excels in a fast-paced environment. This will be a high-visibility role requiring significant partnership with external payers, cross-team collaboration within Population Health and other corporate teams (e.g., Managed Care Operations, Business Intelligence, Clinical Quality etc.), partnership with clinical and operational field leaders, and regular communication with senior leadership.

Core Responsibilities:

Under direction of Sr Manager and in partnership with range of critical stakeholders, including field and executive leaders:

  • Program Ownership & Execution: Serve as the subject matter expert on Oak Street's Quality Program, for care teams, field leaders, and Oak Street leadership. Construct detailed project plans, set timelines, update key stakeholders, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Product, Data, and other Population Health leaders, to drive Oak Street’s overall quality improvement efforts.

  • Change Management: Anticipate change within the Quality program, and its impact on our care teams, patients, and key stakeholders; develop appropriate strategies to minimize disruption.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey updates to field leaders, care teams, and leadership, including status reports, dashboards, and presentations to all stakeholders.

  • Business Analytics: Work closely with our business analysts to derive key insights on Oak Street's quality performance; identify opportunities to drive results and ensure Oak Street is pacing well towards end-of-year performance targets. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of consulting, business analytics, and/or other applicable experience in healthcare 

  • Consulting and/or Program Management experience, preferably in healthcare 

    • Experience with patient engagement strategies and initiatives is a plus 

  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagement

  • Analytical and data savvy 

    • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, experience working with large datasets 

    • Experience/proficiency in SQL is a plus  

    • Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of information

    • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities

  • Someone who is a self-starter

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    • Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables

    • Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high quality work product

    • Quick learner and someone who is comfortable with a high level of ambiguity

  • Bachelor degree required

  • US work authorization
