POSITION AVAILABLE : General Maintenance                                                      

POSTING DATE:  October 16, 2024

RESPONSIBILITIES                        

• Assist with maintenance activities to ensure that all production equipment and plant utilities are functioning in a reliable manner (all areas of the plant)
• Cleaning of equipment
• Ensure the procurement and availability of required material, machinery, equipment, tools, parts, services, and supplies for use in production of the product or related equipment
• Diagnose / troubleshoot repairs involving small production equipment such as pre-press equipment, banders, tape machine, shrink machine, recycler, compactor, shrink tunnel, joggers and printing presses
• Order parts and supplies as needed to satisfy production requirements
• Maintain computerized maintenance software
• Greasing of equipment, maintenance of RH nozzles, others as required
• Dismantles machines or equipment, replace defective parts and motors, and adjusts feed mechanisms.
• Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies to satisfy production schedule
• Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Lead, Senior Maintenance Employees, and Operations Manager

REQUIREMENT                             

• Must have mechanical aptitude
• Computer skills
• Negotiation skills
• Ability to multitask

POSTING                                         

• Internal
• Aptitude testing on mechanical skills and computer skills
• If successful, the candidate will be assessed after 30, 60, and 90 days before permanent placement
• Must be able to work all shifts, on call for after-hours support
