This is a hands on maintenance position and is responsible for make readies, work orders, general maintenance and repair. The position is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the property meet Monarchs established standards.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Exterior structural maintenance as needed
  • Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone 1 week every 5 weeks


Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • 2+ years’ experience in maintenance
  • 1+ years in multi-family housing preferred
  • Dry walling including painting and carpentry
  • Troubleshooting, repairing and installing common appliances (gas and electric)
  • Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
  • Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
  • A valid Driver's License is REQUIRED for this position

  • Compensation is $18.00 to $20.00/hour
