Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our experienced team in Fitchburg, WI.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM day hours. On call rotation is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (1 1/2-hour minimum pay per call).
Full Time - Year-Round position. Consistent stable work with overtime potential available!

What we are offering: Base compensation starting at $23-26/hr.

What you need:
- Valid driver's license required
- Appliance repair skills
- Plumbing skills
- Must be able to read work orders / service requests.
- Dependable and strong work ethic.
- Good safety habits.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience in servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing a variety of items such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, standard appliances
- Multifamily experience preferred, but all maintenance professionals are encouraged to apply
What Our Maintenance Techs Will Do:
- Satisfy service requests such as light electrical (replacing limit switches & fuses), plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC/PTAC maintenance, etc.
- Prepare apartments for turnover (may include painting, appliance repair/replacement, plumbing, lock changes, etc.)
- Manage curb appeal by inspecting and cleaning grounds and buildings.
- Assist with snow removal as needed.
- Complete on-call emergency maintenance.
- Performing basic preventative maintenance including filer changes and coil cleanings
