What we offer

Reporting to the Director, Homebuilding Technologies, the Senior Manager of Preconstruction Technologies will be responsible for the applications and business processes that support Mattamy’s pre-construction and product development functions. This role leads the evaluation, selection and implementation of new technology platforms to support homebuilding architecture and product development, including Microsoft Dynamics Project Operations, AutoCAD and Revit.

 

The Senior Manager oversees a team responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of these solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of application functionality from both business and technical perspectives, ensuring alignment with business process and enterprise architecture. As part of the IT team, this position partners closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective technology solutions.

 

This role also manages third-party technology vendors and collaborates with internal business partners and governance committees to ensure consistent and effective delivery of application services.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage business analysts responsible for planning, requirements definition, solution design, testing and implementation of business applications, system upgrades and enhancements
  • Provide strong people leadership by coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including ownership of stakeholder communications.
  • Work with the Solution Architect to guide solution design and approve project deliverables completed by the team
  • Be accountable for the application capabilities within scope and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Be accountable for operational support delivered by the team, ensuring service levels and quality standards are consistently met

 

What you bring

  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years in systems implementation and/or project delivery
  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and other Business Information Modelling technologies
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Proven experience interpreting and designing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify solutions or opportunities for application and performance improvements
  • Demonstration vision for incorporating automation and artificial intelligence into enterprise application solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Experience delivering services with a strong client and customer focus
  • Must be able to travel within Canada and the United States (15% of the time), as required.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $97,500 - $147,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
