What we offer

The Regional Sales Manager leads and oversees community sales performance to deliver strong results while providing the best homeowner experience. This role ensures consistent strategy execution, process discipline, and crossfunctional alignment, while coaching sales professionals and administrators to drive revenue performance.

What you’ll do

Sales Strategy & Revenue Performance

  • Assist with the development and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company revenue objectives and annual sales goals.
  • Set, communicate, and monitor sales targets for each assigned community, tracking performance against KPIs including traffic, conversion, sales pace, rescissions, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Work with VP, Sales to establish pricing strategies, lot premiums, incentives, and promotional programs for community releases and default and quick move-in (QMI) homes.
  • Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and performance trends to inform regional sales strategy adjustments.
  • Provide strategic oversight for community sales releases, launches, and promotional initiatives.

 

Leadership & Coaching of Community Sales Teams

  • Provide regional leadership to sales professionals and administrators, including performance management, development, engagement, and objective setting.
  • Coach and mentor sales professionals to drive consistent sales performance, operational discipline, and customer experience outcomes.  
  • Ensure effective onboarding, training completion, and ongoing development of sales team.
  • Identify capability gaps across communities and deploy targeted coaching or training programs.
  • Foster a consistent, highperformance sales culture aligned with brand standards and sales excellence expectations.
  • Identify underperforming communities and direct corrective action and turnaround plans.
  • Recognize top performers and reinforce accountability through performance management plans where required.
  • Developing and planning regional sales meetings and training initiatives in coordination with the Vice President, Sales.

 

 

Sales Operations & Process Governance

  • Partnering with the Manager, Sales Process & Administration to implement, and enforce standardized sales processes across all communities, including lead management, sales workflow, and use of CRM and sales systems.
  • Ensure sales professionals are accountable for FINTRAC, CRM adoption, data accuracy, and reporting compliance.
  • Support APS consistency and implementation of changes as required.
  • Act as a regional escalation point for system, process, or data integrity issues.
  • Champion continuous improvement of sales tools, systems, and infrastructure in partnership with Sales Operations.

 

Sales Centre Oversight

  • Establish regional standards for sales office operations, readiness, presentation, and customer experience.
  • Hold sales teams accountable for sales office setup, cleanliness, branding, staffing coverage, and operational compliance.
  • Provide guidance and escalation support related to sales office operational issues.

 

Marketing, Lead Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Partner with Marketing to evaluate and provide input into lead sources, marketing strategies, campaign performance, and conversion effectiveness at a regional level.
  • Review and leverage competitor and market intelligence provided by community teams to inform regional decisions.
  • Ensure sales teams are actively monitoring competitor activity and market conditions.

 

Customer Experience Oversight

  • Own regional accountability for consistent customer experience standards across communities.
  • Support sales teams in resolving escalated customer issues, complaints, or service breakdowns.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics (e.g., AVID) and direct corrective actions where required.

 

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure regional compliance with legislation, consumer protection laws, and internal policies.
  • Hold sales teams accountable for policy enforcement and ethical sales practices at the community level.
  • Address escalated compliance issues, audit findings, or regulatory concerns.
  • Stay informed of legislative and market changes impacting regional sales operations.

 

CrossFunctional Leadership & External Relations

  • Collaborate with Construction on regional timelines, inventory readiness, Quick MoveIn strategies, and possession planning.
  • Partner with Customer Care to address systemic issues impacting homeowner satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment between Sales, Marketing, Construction, and Customer Care teams.
  • Build strong professional relationships with external parties such as financial institutions, brokers etc.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and progressive sales leadership experience may be considered.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive sales experience, with demonstrated success in luxury, premium or high-value sales or a comparable customercentric sales environment.
  • 5+ years in a sales leadership role, overseeing multiple communities, locations, or teams through indirect leadership.
  • Proven experience:
  • Leading and coaching sales professionals
  • Driving revenue performance through strategy, forecasting, and performance management
  • Implementing and enforcing standardized sales processes and CRM discipline
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Pricing strategy, incentives, and market dynamics
  • Customer experience metrics and continuous improvement
  • Regulatory, compliance, and ethical sales practices in real estate or regulated environments

 

Bonus points

  • Experience in a multisite or regional role with accountability for performance through others
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales performance systems (e.g., DynaMX)
  • Real estate or homebuilding industry knowledge, including awareness of market and legislative impacts

 

Hours of work 

This is a full-time, five-day-per-week position. Schedules are determined based on sales office requirements and will include a minimum of one weekend day.

Compensation

Compensation for this role will include a competitive Base Salary plus eligibility to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program, which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
