About You and this Role

You’re excited about ensuring security of Cloud operations. You’ve got experience working in Cloud security - networks, infrastructure elements and applications.  You understand the tactics, techniques, and strategies to protect the Cloud environments on various providers (GCP, Azure, AWS).

In this role you are going to lead the security configuration of our DXP Cloud PaaS offering, our SaaS offerings and you will help our teams to run other Cloud based services securely.

Job Responsibilities

  • Secure our Cloud offerings: monitor and set up permissions, improve security observability
  • Identify, categorize, and prioritize changes to be implemented by the engineering teams
  • Participate in new products’ development lifecycle to ensure they can be deployed securely
  • Establish and enforce secure DevOps procedures and security standards
  • Perform analysis of security exploits, threats, and vulnerabilities providing remediation activities
  • Prepare and run accurate reports from operational data
  • Assist in the coordination, documentation, and management of information security activities
  • Support the resolution of information security issues outside of incidents, actively cooperating with other company departments
  • Mentor and encourage the growth of other team members
  • Evaluate new security technology and trends, and then makes recommendations to strengthen our information security environment
  • Research current industry practices and standards to improve information security
  • Periodically review incident responses and suggest changes to procedures and processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Strong English communication skill. Your day to day work will be working along with teams outside Brazil. The interview process will be also in English
  • Beginner knowledge of software development and information technology operations (DevOps)
  • Expert knowledge of Cloud Security procedures and implementations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents
  • Possesses strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team, while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities

Optional BUT highly desired Certifications and field knowledge

  • Relevant experience with information security, control standards, and frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR and HIPPA
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, risk management methodologies, operations or auditing
  • Experience with cloud environments and containerization
