About You and this Role 

The Accounts Administrator will focus on transactional and administrative tasks. Responsibilities typically center around Accounting processes, but can be anything that supports the work of Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR).

Key Objectives
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:
  • Accounting – Preparing monthly accounting and financial reconciliations of the company's main accounts. Assisting in the preparation of reports for management. Support closing process - Bank recs, revenue/expense allocation, accruals;
  • Account Payable (AP) - Process vendor invoices, vendor payments, and log entries in the accounting system. Assist the team with managing cash flows;
  • Administrative support - (eg., AP/AR reports, sales/use tax filings);
  • Maintain Finance Confluence page.

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting)
  • Detail orientation and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong team player who is very comfortable working as part of a team and working with professionals in different locations
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate English required
    Preferred Qualifications 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel;
    • Previous experience on accounts reconciliation.
