Key Objectives
  • Empower teams to track and analyze their activity/productivity and support their research projects  leading the efforts towards building scalable self-service tools that enable them to make data driven decisions.
  • Identify and prioritize business needs that can be addressed through data analysis and machine learning solutions to support Business decisions with our leadership teams across cross functional departments. 
  • Enable your stakeholders (through your statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms) to take a proactive approach to improving processes and metrics
  • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data science models into production systems, enabling seamless deployment and scalability.
  • Extract and integrate large complex data sets from multiple data sources  to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches
  • Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize existing models, ensuring continuous improvement in the accuracy and effectiveness of data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Data Operations organization and utilize our data platform, share best practices and connect the dots across data sets of different tools and departments.
  • Support the further improvement of our data structures and data quality by keeping a close loop with our data engineering team.
  • Assist in translating technical concepts and findings into simple language for non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and fostering trust in data.
  • Plan ways to measure the impact of data science initiatives on key business metrics, demonstrating the value of data-driven approaches and identifying opportunities for further optimization and improvement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to data privacy best practices and company policies throughout the entire data science lifecycle, including data collection, storage, processing, analysis, and dissemination, to safeguard sensitive information and maintain compliance with applicable laws and standards.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continually grow and get better through skill development in advanced analytics, machine learning, and relevant programming languages to stay at the forefront of the field.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1+ years of work experience in data analytics, consulting, or related roles 
  • Excellent decision-making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player, with strong interpersonal skills and skilled in developing collaborative relationships.
  • Self-starter, quick learner, detail-oriented and proactive in completing responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and maintaining complex queries and procedures as well as transformative schema design to prepare datasets
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R , for use in data science and machine learning model design
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters or Ph.D. Degree in a quantitative field.
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders and prioritizing competing requests.
  • Story- telling and visualizing, experience in Tableau + otherBI/Reporting tools
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Experience with MLOps and creating/maintaining models in production environment
