About You and this Role  

The Global Services team is looking for an Associate Engagement Manager who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, supporting the delivery of challenging and multi-faceted projects. We’re looking for the kind of person that can be the link between our customers’ teams and Liferay Global Services, and who loves dealing with customers, to make sure they have the best experience in dealing with Liferay as possible and that they get a top quality service. Key Responsibilities

  • Single point of contact for client accountability, planning, communication
  • Delivery of client project based on scope, schedule, and budget
  • Works with multiple teams from proposal support to billing
  • Handling client escalation issues, facilitate discussion, and conflict resolution
  • Schedule and facilitate regular meetings
  • Communicate regular status updates both to client and internally
  • Participate in resource allocation for projects according to the needs of the business
  • Respond to client needs as they arise to ensure client satisfaction
  • Following Liferay’s Services methodology for delivery
  • Participate in an agile process to clarify requirements, manage team delivery and obtain feedback on team deliverables
  • Take ownership of tasks assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Analytical thinker and problem solver
  • Knowledge of Software development concepts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Agile Development Process a plus
  • Any other relevant previous experience a plus
