Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be a part of our Global FP&A team and live within a commutable distance to Orlando or Jacksonville, Florida.  Responsibilities include Global financial reporting, tracking, and modeling; forecasting and budgeting analysis; and KPI tracking and analysis.

 

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports to the Manager, Global FP&A
  • Works closely with Global function and North American Operations Leaders
  • Requires global coordination and communication.

Direct Reports:

  • The role has no direct reports.

In this role you can expect to

Key Accountabilities

  • Interpretation and analysis of key performance indicators (financial & non-financial)
  • Partner with Manager, Global FP&A to prepare and provide analysis on forecast and budgets for North American business as well as corporate functions.
  • Build and validate financial models to assess future outcomes, including risks and opportunities.
  • Track and forecast global IT projects, investment spending and requests.
  • Review and prepare monthly accruals.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews with key stakeholders of actual results to identify forward-looking opportunities and risks.
  • Leverage data to identify patterns as part of optimizing long and short-term forecasts.
  • Partner with all areas of the business to improve functional reporting and tracking vs. budget.
  • Produce detailed and meaningful ad hoc analytics in support of business needs.

All About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a finance/accounting related field
  • Additional education with data analysis or predictive analytics a plus
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a finance or reporting/analyst related role
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, observational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Creative problem solving
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Financial systems software skills required, JD Edwards a plus.
  • Strong systems aptitude, Web-based reporting systems experience is a plus.
  • Positive attitude
  • Time and priority management skills a must
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently, as needed.
