What does an exceptional Finance Executive do?

We are looking for Finance Executive to join our dynamic Finance team. Your role will take responsibility for our Singapore office where you will bring your energy and passion for finance excellence to help us drive efficiency across our finance function.

What you’ll do

As the Finance Executive, you will

  • In charge full spectrum of AP (consultant invoices posting, prepare PV, AP Aging)
  • Manage and process monthly vendor (internal, external) and consultant invoices – verify, approval and posting
  • Process employee monthly claims
  • Prepare AR invoices and send to client manually (Ezra)
  • Prepare SOA and AR Aging, closely follow up outstanding balances (Ezra)
  • AR receipts and posting into ABSS Accounting System (Ezra)
  • Reconciliation of revenue working file against ABSS Accounting System (Ezra)
  • Prepare intercompany back charge invoices and confirm IC balance (Ezra)
  • Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts, key accounts: AR, AP, cash, intercompany, non-trade assets (prepaid, other receivables, fixed assets), asset retirement obligation, VAT, accrued volume discounts
  • Setting up manual payments and monthly intercompany payments
  • Provide support during the audit process (interim and final) as appropriate including the preparation of information relevant to the statutory accounts
  • Work on ad hoc tasks/ projects where appropriate and support both finance functions where necessary
  • Ezra: As Ezra activity ramps, role may increasingly focus on the Ezra business accounting

 

Required Experience/Characteristics

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to handle manual process
  • 2 - 3 years working experience in relevant role
  • Basic accounting principles which you have practically applied in the past
  • A good attitude, sharp with an eye for detail and a team player
  • Sense of responsibility, meticulous and able to work independently
  • Multi-tasker with good time management skills
  • Interest in, and ability to, drive automation and change
  • Knowledge in MYOB/ ABSS is beneficial
  • Working knowledge of local statutory requirements is beneficial

 

What’s on Offer

  • Schedule: 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday-Friday
