Business Development Manager- UK Specialist Markets 


This sales position focuses on the acquisition of UK SME accounts within an assigned territory. Sales efforts will be on product solutions and offerings with responsibility for acquisition of a designated number of prospect accounts. Account Management will manage the contract, and be responsible for implementing contracts, retaining and expanding customers. 


Reporting Relationships: 

  • You will report to the UK Specialist Sales Director


  • Remote, with residence in UK.
  • Assigned to LHH London, Harewood Place.

In this role you can expect to 

  • Be responsible for the territory revenue goals within the assigned market
  • Primary follow through on leads assigned by marketing with some proactive demand generation
  • Identify and pursue new clients, providing relevant information to leadership through forecasting and pipeline accuracy
  • Align with Account Managers for delivery, retention and expansion of accounts
  • Role model and drive a culture of ‘One’ LHH team across the whole of the UK


All About You 

  • Proven experience of building, developing and converting customer relationships & contracts.
  • Passionate about HR Business Solutions and mission of making a difference
  • Staffing, HR Consulting or Training & Development experience desirable
  • Ability to exceed sales targets with a proven track-record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proven self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong work ethic and is adaptable
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, working with partners, generating interest, and aligning LHH solutions to client needs
  • A continued drive for “yes;” viewing the unmovable obstacle as an opportunity to make a difference              
  • Ability to share best practices, continually improve processes, messaging, and provide clear and consistent reporting to leadership
