Accounts Receivable Specialist BNP, LHH Poland  


The primary goal of the accounts receivable specialist is to ensure timely and accurate collection of payments owed to the company while maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholder. They play a critical role in managing cash flow and minimizing negative debt losses for the organization.   


Reporting Relationships:   

  • Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Tax BNP (Belgium, Netherlands & Poland)


  • Hybrid work model with weekly office days

In this role you can expect to   

Key Accountabilities   

  • Invoicing: Generating and sending out invoices to customers for LHH services.
  • Monitoring Accounts: Tracking and managing accounts receivable to ensure timely payment from customers.
  • Payment Processing: Recording payments received from customers and properly applying them to the respective accounts.
  • Following Up on Overdue Accounts: Contacting customers with overdue balances to remind them of outstanding payments and facilitate resolution.
  • Resolving Discrepancies: Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to billing or payments.
  • Customer Communication: Interacting with customers to address inquiries, resolve billing disputes, and provide assistance with payment-related matters.
  • Reporting: Generating reports on accounts receivable status, aging analysis, and cash flow projections for management review.
  • Credit Management: Assessing creditworthiness of new customers, setting credit limits, and monitoring credit terms.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as sales, customer service, and finance to ensure accurate and efficient processing of receivables.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable.


All About You   

  • 2-5 years work history in Accounts Receivable or related.
  • Ideally with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related.
  • Experience with billing or accounting tools, ideally with Orbit or Optima.
  • Languages – full professional proficiency  Polish (C1) and communicative in English (B2) written and spoken are mandatory.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Analytical and problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative work ethic.
  • Understanding of accounting software and programs, eager to learn.
