Delivery Manager Career Transition & Mobility (Belgium & Netherlands)

The primary responsibilities of the Delivery Manager are to lead, manage, and grow the delivery and operational processes across the Career Transition & Mobility business line while supporting the sales team as required.

 

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports directly to the Delivery & Operations Director of DACH, BNP

Direct Reports:

  • Yes: Career Consultants (Fixed and/or Freelance)

  • This position is based in Belgium or the Netherlands

Major Responsibilities

Delivery Management

  • Working with and manage the regional team of career consultants in delivering individual and group programs, whether within an LHH office, or at a client or other external site.
  • Ensure all services and programs are delivered at the highest quality standards and meet profitability expectations in collaboration with the D&O Director.
  • Ensure there is a pool of certified consultants available to complete all services as and when required.
  • Develop, implement and manage a consultant recruitment, induction, certification and onboarding process to ensure all delivery expectations are met.
  • Consistently analyze and identify candidate and customer delivery needs and drive professional development to ensure regional delivery capabilities can meet those needs effectively and profitably.
  • Manage the quality processes implemented to review workshop facilitation and content, providing feedback to facilitators, and determine needs for improvement to content or facilitation.
  • Work directly with your team and other colleagues to provide direction on all facets of candidate programs and delivery. Resolve any questions or issues, communicating with sales/account and delivery teams.
  • Consistently look for next generation of career consulting topics and methodologies.
  • Monitor performance of Career Consultants, i.e. ensuring that each individual meets or exceeds targets for quality, successful landing and return rate.
  • Monitor utilization of Career Consultants ensuring we meet or exceed the caseload target and proactively manage costs.
  • Ensure that all the Career Consultants are entering all candidate activity/ information (activities, landing information, candidate details, ..) into Orbit accurately, with appropriate detail and on a timely basis.
  • Develop and maintain mastery level knowledge of LHH Resources in order to ensure candidates are exposed to needed services and tools.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of industry and marketplace trends.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of technology and social media.

Operational Effectiveness

  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of operational processes and tools in support of the corporate and national mission.
  • Ensure all available resources, including personnel, facilities and equipment, are utilized in the most efficient, effective and profitable manner.
  • Implement Global and EMEA best practice processes.

Sales Support

  • Assist the Sales Director in developing effective sales strategies for Career Transition & Mobility.
  • Cooperatively interact with members of the Sales team to achieve sales objectives within the region.
  • Builds strong relationships with the sales team and ensure delivery processes and procedures align with sales targets.
  • Work with the sales team in creating and participating in presentations, proposals, discussion documents, shopper sales and other sales activities, as required.  For all large projects working closely with sales team to agree deliverables with the client.

Personnel & Administration

  • Oversee all required payroll, expense and purchasing approvals/issues for delivery staff.

 

Required Experience/Characteristics

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a focus on team development
  • Expert in process optimization and management
  • Proficient in financial and business analysis with a data-driven/ analytical approach
  • Proven success managing teams across multiple locations
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a plus) with the ability to engage in critical discussions
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
  • Flexible to work independently and collaboratively as needed
  • Committed to ethical standards and promoting workplace diversity
  • Capable of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration
  • Adept at multi-tasking and managing complex projects
