JBS is seeking an hourly Production Team Member! This position starts at $32.75 - $35.75. Pay scale is based on test qualification.

Position Description: Under limited or indirect supervision, provides basic electrical and technical support to engineering and production in the development, analysis, and maintenance of processes. Tests and diagnoses electrical control systems, instrumentation, and equipment. Ensures process control systems are in operation and achieving desired output. Monitors, adjusts, calibrates, maintains, and/or repairs basic to moderately complex equipment, machinery, instruments, and control systems.
Requirements:
- Provide troubleshooting and maintain Bizerba labeling system/machines on production floor.
- Perform basic Reactive Maintenance on Automated Systems and Instrumentation (basic troubleshooting, changing parts, follow-up to ensure problem is resolved & basic modifications to equipment to improve performance).
- Regularly accompany higher level team members & maintenance personnel to Reactive Maintenance calls to gain familiarity and troubleshooting techniques for the different equipment at the facility.
- Complete projects assigned by the Engineering management that are designed to improve a process within the facility and advance the employee’s skill set.
- Assist and train in startup of the facility’s Automated and Robotic equipment.
- Contact manufacturer technical support as a troubleshooting tool to solve complicated issues.
- Troubleshoot electronic control systems including PLC logic, HMI, electrical drives, relay logic and motor controls.
- Electrical wiring, conduit and wire installations of control panels.
- This position will manage Bizerba labelling/data maintenance and all computer/network equipment.
- Perform maintenance related tasks as required.
Skills / Experience
- Working/troubleshooting knowledge of Bizerba labelling equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows® operating systems and Microsoft Office®, including a basic understanding of PC and networking hardware.
- Demonstrated ability to properly use multi-meters including various voltages up to 480 VAC 3-Phase, measure resistance, and amperage.
- Demonstrated ability to identify components of three-phase motor circuits and related equipment.
- Working Knowledge and understanding of PLC’s and associated components.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Basic mechanical aptitude including demonstrated ability to identify and properly use hand tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical control circuits that employ 24 VAC/DC, 120/240 VAC, and 277/480 VAC 3-Phase.
- Must have knowledge of Network cabling and connectivity.
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must have strong customer support abilities
Work Environment
The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
