As a Staff Accountant Fixed asset at Wild Fork, you will be responsible for the management and reporting of fixed assets. This includes the processing of fixed asset related invoices, analyzing and reconciling project expenditures and ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and generally accepted accounting standards principles.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:  

  • Acting as an accounting contact for assigned department(s) and assisting Fixed Asset manager with the analysis of project closeouts and adjustment to P&L statements
  • Processing of fixed assets vendor invoices
  • Preparing asset, liability, and capital account journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Reconciling assigned general ledger accounts and projects expenditures vs budget
  • Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data
  • Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect company assets by keeping financial information confidential
  • Assist the Accounting Manager and Controller with the quarterly and year-end financial audits
  • Ad hoc reporting as requested by management

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, with 2-3 years progressive of accounting experience required
  • Proven analytical skills, including the understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Solid organizational skills, including strong detail orientation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Superb communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Experience with MS office suite
  • Familiarity with ERP system (SAP a plus)
