IT Director – Back-Office and Cybersecurity
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for an IT Director – Back-Office and Cybersecurity for JBS that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.
The IT Director position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including delivering assigned IT projects on time, working with the business to improve efficiencies, a senior leader, responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect an organization's data, systems, and infrastructure, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and leading a team of managers.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.
- Develop and deliver Cybersecurity Awareness Training programs.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
- Evaluate and select cybersecurity technologies and solutions, and oversee the implementation and maintenance of security systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and manage the cybersecurity budget, allocate resources to support cybersecurity initiatives, and advocate for necessary resources to maintain a strong security posture.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address security concerns.
- Stay informed about emerging threats and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan, and lead the investigation and response to security incidents to ensure timely and effective remediation of security breaches.
- Monitor security systems and infrastructure for potential threats and incidents.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats, and develop and implement security controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Advise executive leadership on cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies.
- Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization's business goals.
- Collaborate with the business to improve efficiencies and enhance team efficiencies.
- Deliver assigned IT projects on time.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in IT.
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity management and leadership.
- Strong technical skills in cybersecurity technologies and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge and experience with NIST 2.0.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC).
- Prior experience with meat/CPG business preferred.
- Ability to learn in a hands-on environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical aptitude with project management experience preferred.
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $130,000-$150,000;
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
