The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Specialist, this role supports community marketing programs and strategic partnerships, to meet growth goals. This role drives local engagement and establishes relationships within the communities our centers are part of.  The successful candidate will be naturally curious and inquisitive, digging into competitive intel, local insights, local influencers/partnerships and the voice of our customer to ensure local marketing programs are impactful and relevant. This role supports the bridge between community marketing and the overarching brand marketing strategy. 

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the local marketing team and external local partners, this role will play a crucial function in meeting go-to-market growth goals by serving as a key supporter of hyper-local marketing plans, as well as supporting the implementation and impact of: community relations, strategic brand partnerships, event development, new center openings, thought leadership content distribution and other locally-driven programs.

  • Uncover, ideate and support new and innovative community marketing opportunities founded with insight at the market/center level.
  • Foster and support ongoing and evergreen relationships with engaged, key local influencers to drive consistent presence in their community; educate the community on our unique value propositions and differentiation.
  • Research and validate threats & opportunities, including competitive landscape to inform and optimize marketing programs.
  • Support the national distribution of promotional material to our communities/partners, including inventory, and placement strategy, in partnership with local marketing team and project management.
  • Support feedback from cross-functional teams to optimize, enhance and maintain accuracy of our materials.
  • Serving as a brand ambassador in-market; support new market and center openings on the ground, on behalf of the local marketing team
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills And Attributes For Success

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary – with an outgoing, friendly nature that rapidly builds cross functional relationships
  • Passion for care - self-care, healthcare, wellness, etc.


  • 2+ years in a marketing, agency, or similar role; local/field marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to easily travel
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience using social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, others) for business, a plus
  • Experience in business development, sales, brand ambassador or similar role a plus
  • Flexible schedule — some weekends/evenings needed, but work life balance is highly valued
