GoHealth Urgent Care is looking to hire a Corporate Development Director to assist in all aspects of the company’s business development efforts with a focus on M&A opportunities.  We seek a team member who thrives in a growth culture and will help support and enhance our business development capabilities to ensure that we can meet or exceed our strategic growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead M&A processes from outreach through due diligence, integration, and transaction close
    • Lead external business development efforts (meetings and conference calls) with potential M&A targets
    • Organize and evaluate for completeness the data received from M&A targets
    • Coordinate operational and financial due diligence, working with various functional groups to ensure questions or concerns are being identified and addressed
    • Analyze financial statements and support development of valuation models
    • Collaborate with internal legal and finance teams to review and negotiate transaction documents
    • Lead and manage pre-closing integration and closing processes
  • Build relationships with potential M&A targets in existing and prospective markets with a focus on relationship management
  • Lead development of comprehensive financial and strategic rationale to inform determination of deal structure and deal negotiations
  • Collaborate efficiently and effectively with GoHealth UC’s leadership team, including CEO, CFO, COO, GC, CBDO, development teams and relevant market leaders on potential transactions, gaining buy-in and insight as required
  • Maintain and prepare presentations
  • Continuously expand knowledge of competitive landscape, healthcare industry strategies and sales techniques
  • Grow and cultivate a team to continually improve and drive greater performance.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of professional experience with recent progressive responsibility in corporate development, private equity, or investment banking
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis concepts, analytical ability, and attention to detail required
  • Strong project management/organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint) with strong Excel skills required
  • Excellent communication, written, verbal, and presentation skills required
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
