Objective of the Position

The Reach Truck Driver operates powered equipment as part of the inbound and outbound processes within the distribution center on 2nd shift from 3:30 pm-12:00 am.

Education/Status Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Skills
  • Keen attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and checking
  • Arithmetic skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good judgment and decision making skills
  • Able to follow directions accurately with little supervision
  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization
Work Experience Requirements

1 year of experience as a certified Reach Truck Driver in a warehouse setting (ability to operate other powered industrial equipment: Sit Down Forklift, Dock Stocker, Order Picker, Electric Pallet Jack, and Slip Sheet preferred), RF scanner, and Warehouse Management System experience.

Essential Functions & Duties
  • Performs replenishment and drops pallets in forward pick areas
  • Completes bin consolidation
  • Supports the shipping department by picking orders and full pallets as needed
  • Loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials
  • Performs picking duties in an efficient manner that meet both company and customer standards
  • Maintains equipment by keeping it clean and safe, reporting service requests as needed
Physical Requirements

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, the associate  must have the ability to perform physical activities such as standing for prolonged periods of time, bending for prolonged periods of time, climbing, balancing, walking, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively, and have good eye/hand coordination and motor skills. This position requires the ability to operate powered industrial equipment and work at heights.

Working Conditions

This position operates in the warehouse. Regular workdays for this position are Monday through Friday. Occasionally, responsibilities may require additional daytime/evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.
