Position Summary:  
  
The Business & Inventory Analyst is focused on Systems/Data/Processes to improve Inventory Accuracy and maximize cost shipments and retail sales.  Provides sound data analysis and insights influencing optimal outcomes. Troubleshoot inventory related issues, both financial and unit, and work with both Amazon and Conair to address issues identified. Validate Amazon forecasting for financial and unit integrity, in conjunction with Conair perspective based on history, sales trend analysis, and future promotional & assortment changes.   
Responsibilities:  
  • Weekly Reporting:  manage POS tracking weekly/monthly/quarterly/YTD.  Provide insights to business trends & opportunities.  Set up reporting for endcap's special programs, new items, as well as promotional recaps.
  • Order Review & Recommendations:  Weekly status calls with internal logistics and Amazon Instock Manager.  Monitor inventory out of stocks.  Reviewing cuts and securing build orders.
  • Monthly Forecasting for Internal Planning:  analyze past & current trends along with future promotions and business shifts.  Enter into internal systems & work with planning team to properly manage production & inventory flow into Conair warehouses.
  • Cost Shipments:  Forecast weekly/monthly cost shipments. Weekly cost shipments call & maintain monthly tracking vs LY and current year plan.
  • Managing New Items & inventory on deleted items:  Provide collaborative forecast to the Conair team & Amazon.
  • Promotional Forecast:  Manage buy quantity, lift, incrementality, & markdown analysis. Maintain promotional calendar and understand YOY shifts & effect to sales trends.
  • Line Review Preparation:   assist in data integrity for presentation via sales, IRI, DOMO and Stackline.
Essential Qualifications:  
  • B.A/B.S degree with 3-5 years’ experience with business processes and systems or equivalent work experience, specializing in analytics and problem solving
  • Vendor Central experience a plus.   Expertise in Excel, Pivot Tables.
  • Ability to blend business knowledge and data to influence business partners to drive business changes to improve inventory accuracy, profitability and improved guest experience using solid data and expertise.
  • Proven collaborator, works well with a team as well as on individual assignments.
  • Proven ability to multitask and quickly prioritize projects to meet aggressive deadlines based on company initiatives
  • Ability to be resilient and adaptable working through challenges.
  • High level of initiative with the ability to work independently.
Beneficial Qualifications:  
  • Usage and analytics in IRI, Nielson for pulling data and insights. 
  • Supply Chain knowledge and ability to pull reports in Vendor Central a plus.
  
Environmental Factors:  
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (if needed).
