The Sr. R&D Business Analyst will play a pivotal role leading high-impact initiatives within the Project, Program and Portfolio Management Center of Excellence (P3MO CoE). Using expert-level business analysis and project management knowledge, the Sr. R&D Business analyst will collaborate with leaders across the R&D and P3MO organizations to transform portfolio data into actionable insights. This role requires advanced analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and creative problem solving. The US based Sr. R&D Business Analyst will primarily support the Molecular Biology and Microbiology R&D franchises located in Salt Lake City and St. Louis but may also support other R&D franchises and other locations as needed.    

           

Job duties include:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify their requirements, assisting in the identification of effective solutions that align with the information system framework.
  • Actively engage in workshops, contributing ideas and insights to help the IS team to shape solutions that enhance user experience and streamline business processes.
  • Leads projects to deliver project, program and portfolio management business analytics processes, reports and tools.    
  • Collects stakeholder requirements and manages leadership expectations.              
  • Develops audience appropriate reports and dashboards.     
  • Documents and presents data-driven findings and recommendations.       
  • Investigates and solves complex problems.    
  • Identifies and executes opportunities for improvements.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics and data visualization. Project Management experience strongly recommended.
  • Experience in Planisware strongly preferred
  • Experience in Tableau BI strongly preferred

 

Approximately 10% travel required (domestic & international combined)
