BMS Service Technician

Job Summary:
As a BMS Service Technician, you will perform duties that range from general troubleshooting on customer systems to support on BMS / low-voltage projects. You will be part of a team while also maintaining an independent role with a focus on ownership and organization throughout the entire service order process.
- Manage your personal WIP (Work in Progress) Service Orders from generation through completion.
- Be a customer advocate while on your field service visits
- Read and interpret Control, Mechanical, Electrical drawings and circuit diagrams as needed
- Troubleshoot and diagnose BMS systems and networks to automate building systems.
- Program and commission BMS systems.
- Replace and/or repair building automation control equipment and devices.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills required:
- Tech-Savvy with computers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Commercial/construction service experience a plus.
- Class C driver’s license and clean driver’s record.
Qualifications
• 1 - 2 + years of experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in the building controls automation industry preferred but not required.
• Experience in the light commercial / Residential HVAC industry preferred but not required.
