Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and hands on architect who can provide technical guidance to development teams! Our team takes pride in supporting and modernizing the platform used by roughly 2700 RIA firms collectively managing over 1.9 trillion in assets. Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating architectural plans and designs for software systems or foundational services or frameworks 
  • Work with external clients and partners on technology issues.
  • Work with the other Architects to define interactions that cross business and technical area boundaries.
  • Ensure conformity to system-level technical Goals, Principles, and long-term technical vision.
  • Prototype solutions as needed.
  • Author and participate in solution architecture review (SOAR)
  • Select the appropriate technologies, maintain the technical backlog and provide high level estimates.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.  
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of senior software development experience with demonstrated ability to design software systems and to influence and assist development teams in implementing those designs. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with .NET, C#, NuGet, and GIT
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with agile development environment.
  • Experience with modern web application, microservice, and API design.
  • Programming experience in a modern language like C# and object-oriented design
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational database best practices
  • Able to do hands-on development as and when required.
  • Have a deep knowledge of software architecture patterns and when to use them.
  • Know how to integrate and work with legacy applications.
  • Understand DevOps and the deployment process.

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $205,000.
