Description

Act as a thought leader, advocating for and implementing best practices and design patterns across all supported products and teams. Collaborate with various product teams to design, develop, and optimize comprehensive Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Help build the next generation of our ERP hosting platform by leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration Management, and Event-Driven Infrastructure to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient deployments. Create tools to streamline service deployment and improve monitoring in a large-scale distributed environment. Work with teams to architect and implement innovative software solutions that support DevOps and Agile transformation initiatives. Work closely with internal and external teams to develop and implement efficient solutions. Act as a technical leader, mentor and review senior and junior CloudOps team members work and provide thoughtful and useful feedback. Contribute to the design and implementation of new initiatives by providing expert insights and constructive feedback. Actively participate in all stages of the project design phase, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives. Offer technical guidance and recommendations to leadership to enhance project outcomes and efficiency. Continuously expand your expertise and actively share knowledge with colleagues to support professional growth. Provide respectful and actionable feedback to leadership to improve DevOps strategies and objectives. Maintain a strong understanding of DevOps principles and advocate for the adoption of best practices by application teams. Working from home within the same MSA as worksite 4 days per week is an option. Must be in the office 1 day per week (Plano, TX). Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems and 3 years of experience in the following: working in a cloud-focused DevOps, CloudOps, or software engineering role; working in a CI/CD environment; implementing and maintaining automation pipelines; managing Linux-based systems; using at least one of the following configuration automation tools (ansible, run deck, chef or puppet); designing or maintaining highly available and secure cloud systems; migrating and managing workloads in AWS; developing in an Object-Oriented language; scripting with Bash or Python; working with Kubernetes; Terraform; Datadog; all core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, ELB, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, S3. Must have experience with at least one CI/CD platform such as Harness, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
