Solutions Consultant
Description
The Solutions Consultant demonstrates the in-depth features and functionality of Tyler’s suite of payment solutions to prospective clients. The Solutions Consultant demonstrates Tyler’s payment solutions to prospective clients. The accuracy of the demonstration is critical to having a successful sale. The Solutions Consultant is one of the first Tyler representatives a prospective client interacts with. This ‘first impression’ influences the dynamics of the relationship, and thus has an impact on revenue.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on all payment related products and services.
- Demo all standalone payment products to prospects, including in person as required.
- Assist sales team in responding to requests for proposals and other prospect inquiries.
- Align closely with product and development teams to ensure awareness of feature updates and application changes.
- Clearly and accurately demonstrate Tyler’s payments solutions to prospective clients.
- Maintain various test environments to ensure a successful demonstration.
- Communicate clearly.
- Show professionalism when dealing with all aspects of internal and external relationships.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Tyler solutions essential.
- Previous sales experience in the software industry a plus.
- Previous experience demonstrating software solutions a plus.
- Must possess a competitive drive and results-oriented approach.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills. Previous public speaking experience a plus.
- Must be a self-starter in addition to a team player.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and employees required.
- Must possess general computer (PC) literacy and proficiency with MS Office products.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Up to 30% travel.
