Role Overview

 

Facilitate the loading and offloading of all products coming and going to the mine site. As well as deliveries to all departments on the mine site.

 

 

Core Responsibilities

 

  • Proficiency in handling and loading with all terrian forklift.
  • Completes stores request and deliveries of goods around the mine site.
  • Completes shipments and offloading of goods arriving at the mine site.
  • Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the BOL to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
  • Maintains proper forklift logbook ensuring gaps and issues are captured and properly informed to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Provides quality customer service by following organization standards and Warehouse SOP’s.
  • Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping docks, yards, laydowns neat and organized.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.

 

Education & Experience

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferred.
