Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Data Scientist/Senior IT Developer to join our cross-functional team. You’ll work at the intersection of data, engineering, and manufacturing to uncover insights, optimize processes, and accelerate product development.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze high-volume manufacturing and test data to improve wafer yield, reduce defects, and enhance throughput.
• Collaborate with design and process engineers to validate data extraction performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Build scalable data pipelines and dashboards to monitor KPIs across fabrication, assembly, and test operations.
• Apply data integration techniques to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through compelling visualizations and reports.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Python, PL/SQL, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire).
• Experience with web application frameworks (e.g., Java, Springboot, C#/C++).
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing data (e.g., SPC, MES, EDA tools) is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
• Machine Learning (ML) and AI experience
• Knowledge of wafer fabrication, yield analysis, or test engineering.
• Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Spark, Trino).
• Understanding of chip design workflows and simulation data.
