We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Quality to lead quality operations across our manufacturing suppliers. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability that result in customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, senior management experience leading teams of supplier quality engineers, and a proven record of driving continuous improvement with manufacturing suppliers. Director level will depending on finalist's experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive quality improvements at IC semiconductor assembly OSATs, Wafer Fabrications, and Final product.
- Manage Supplier Quality Engineering team.
- Oversee quality metrics, defect reduction, RMA trends, and in‑line quality indicators.
- Lead team to proactively engage in and define Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs)
- Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, FMEA, SPC, DOE) for manufacturing issues, excursions, and customer returns.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure robust process controls and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support customer quality interactions, including audits, quality reviews, and technical discussions.
- Mentor and develop a high‑performing quality engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or related field).
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a manager role managing a team of supplier quality engineer. Strong understanding of semiconductor product manufacturing processes (wafer fab, assembly, test) and quality methodologies.
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience directly interfacing and influencing top management at supplier sites in IC assembly semiconductor manufacturing (OSATs).
- Technical expert in semiconductor product manufacturing processes (wafer fab, assembly, test) and quality methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with SPC, FMEA, 8D, DOE, and other structured problem‑solving tools.
- Excellent communication skills and experience interfacing with customers and suppliers.
- Familiarity with automotive or high‑reliability markets is a plus.
