Position Overview 
The Marketing Strategist — Recruitment Marketing is responsible for driving applicant volume and quality through paid recruitment channels and marketplace optimization. This role owns strategy, execution, and performance for recruitment marketing platforms (e.g., Indeed, Jobvite, and other job boards/ATS-integrated tools), optimizing spend and postings to improve applicant flow, cost-per-applicant, and downstream hiring outcomes. 
The ideal candidate applies a performance marketing mindset to the hiring funnel—partnering with Talent Acquisition to prioritize roles, diagnose drop-offs (view  click  apply  qualified), and make weekly optimizations that improve both volume and quality. 
Key Responsibilities 
  1. Recruitment Channel Strategy & Budget Management 
  • Own performance across paid recruitment channels (Indeed, Jobvite, and other platforms as applicable). 
  • Forecast applicant needs with TA partners and allocate budget based on hiring priority and performance. 
  • Optimize spend, bidding, and posting strategy to hit cost-per-applicant and qualified applicant targets. 
 
  1. Job Posting Optimization & Apply Conversion 
  • Improve posting performance through title testing, formatting, keyword optimization, and content recommendations. 
  • Partner with TA to refine job descriptions and requirements for better candidate match and higher apply completion. 
  • Identify funnel drop-offs (click  apply start  apply complete) and recommend fixes. 
 
  1. Hiring Funnel Analytics & Reporting 
  • Build reporting across roles, locations, and sources (cost, volume, quality signals, conversion rates). 
  • Translate insights into actions: refresh postings, reallocate budget, pause low-quality sources, adjust targeting. 
  • Improve tracking quality (UTMs, source mapping, platform integrations) to ensure reliable measurement. 
 
  1. Stakeholder Partnership & Process Improvement 
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to set weekly priorities and align on hiring needs and outcomes. 
  • Document playbooks and learnings so optimizations scale across roles and markets. 
  
Requirements 
  • 4–6+ years of experience in performance marketing, recruitment marketing, or paid media roles with measurable outcomes 
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment platforms (Indeed, Jobvite, or similar job board/ATS tools) 
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with funnel metrics and campaign optimization 
  • Experience partnering with Talent Acquisition/HR stakeholders to prioritize roles and improve applicant quality
